Heya, all!

I'm from Australia. South Australia, to be correct. My hobbies include: singing, playing the piano, writing, reading and playing Netball. I'm 15years old and attend high school.

My nicknames include: Ally (don't ask), Unmei (pronounced oohn-may, I think French for butterfly), DWL, Ashi and just my normal name, shortened and stuff.

What I Like:

Under the subject of television shows...
I'm very picky about what I watch. I do enjoy the occasional Simpsons, though. Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I love! I love watching a lot of the kick-ass shows, like Stargate: Atlantis (drools over John Sheppard - my new obsession!)and Stargate SG1.

Musical tastes and favourites...
I love a lot of the rock stuff: Gothic Rock, Opera Rock (yes, there is such a thing), and just a bunch of yelling. Anything with an electrical guitar makes me stop and listen. I also listen to music from other countries, like Japanese music, and stuff from Finland. My favourite bands/artists include: Marilyn Manson, L'Arc~en~ciel, Gackt, Hyde, Malice Mizer, Nightwish, Evanescence and occasionally Linkin Park. I also listen to Classical Music. It's very pretty.

Movies I either watch all the time or would like to...
I have a major weakness for kick-ass movies! I love Moon Child, which is a Japanese movie that has guns and a storyline, too! I cry so much at the end... umm... I love Underworld, although I've only seen it once. I love Peter Pan! Not the cartoon, the new one that was just recently made in Australia. It's such a good movie, and now it's my favourite movie! Harry Potter is good, although they aren't as good as the books... and that's pretty much all... except Monty Python! They are so funny! Oh, and you can't forget the amazing Lord of the Rings Trilogy!

Books I own or would seriously like to...
First and foremost - the Sweep series by Cate Tiernan! And then, the Balefire series. I'm actually liking them just as much as the Sweep at the moment. It's awesome.She rocks! Then... the Tamora Pierce series - all of them! I don't enjoy the Circle ones as much... but they are good... go Keladry! Harry Potter comes next. They are the series of books that has made me cry the most! I cried so much in them! Especially when Sirius dies... Holes, by Louis Sachar, that's incredible and anything written by L.J.Smith. She's my current favourite author.

Other stuff I enjoy doing, just in general...
I love spending time with my friends. We always go to the movies, and shopping. I'm not much of a shopper, but when I'm with my friends I'm happy just to be with them. I also love children. I'd love to work with kids when I'm older, as well as writing.
